How can I enter my BIOS without knowing the key or the password? Any solutions? Thanks Read the user manual for your system or motherboard on how to reset the BIOS. Or, contact the Technical support for your system or motherboard for instructions for resetting your BIOS. This is referred to as a HARDWARE problem! Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Usually there's a jumper on the motherboard to clear the password. Sometimes it's also the clear CMOS jumper, but not always. That would be where to start. SC Tom P.S. It has nothing to do with Windows since it goes into effect before any OS is loaded :-)

That will work on the ones that erasing the CMOS will also reset the password. On some motherboards that have separate jumpers for CMOS and password reset, the password is stored in non-volatile memory, and removing the battery won't do the trick. SC Tom
